Welcome to Southern Tier New York Catholic

Joe.  He is from the Diocese of Michigan.  This homily on the Feast of Christ the King, or something very much like it very well could have been preached at any one of the Catholic churches across the Southern Tier of New York.  It oozes every element of the message Jesus Christ desires every priest, deacon and lay person to scream from the mountain top!  We have excellent Catholic Parishes across the Southern Tier of New York, led by awesome priests, deacons and staff members, but the job of us, the lay members of the Catholic Church, is to do the same!  This is Our Mission – to preach to every corner of the Southern Tier that Christ is King and He will win in the end.  We want to help you all be on His Winning Team!

This short 6 minute video helps us step back to see what Jesus was doing in the manger. It goes beyond the manger – He was on a mission, a mission to rescue us by conquering sin, which He did on the cross; but also conquered death through His Resurrection. Don’t just focus on the baby, the maji, but focus on the mission, a mission He asks us to carry on as His Hands, His Feet in 2025 and beyond…
